"Our sweet boy Max had been through puppy training but somewhere along the way he developed a terrible fear of the car and was a nightmare on walks (hes 100lbs and only a year old). Our previous trainer wasn't able to help so we began to look elsewhere to help him with his absolute fear of the car and leash walking. We found Sam and through his BNT time with her, he not only got through his fear, he came home a confident, happy and obedient dog that we can actually take for a walk instead of him dragging us along the way. We watched her in action with him and she knew exactly how to tailor her trainings to him for successful outcomes. "Sam is an amazing trainer. She transformed our dog after just 5 weeks of the board and train! He still stayed his lovable self, but with much more training! Now I can leave my dog in a down or place and walk out of the room and he does NOT move!!! We cannot thank Sam enough for training Lincoln and turning him into a dog that I don't have to worry about anymore. I used to have to hold him when guests would come over, he would run away and bolt out the door, he would go crazy over seeing other dogs and now all of that has been resolved! Private Lessons - 6 Lessons
"Sam is an amazing trainer and when I say this, I’m saying this as someone who’s gone to bigger dog training facilities. I had private lessons with her for my fear aggressive shepherd. My shepherd is now a completely different dog because of how she TRAINED ME. She told me it would be a lot of work and I kept it up so my dog could live his life to the fullest. Sam explained things in a way that made sense and if it didn’t, she would show you. For us, she couldn’t just take the lead with my dog so for her to show how I need to implement a training method without my dog, illustrates how devoted she is to her clients. She adapts to her environment and really strives to be there for you and your dog. She is wonderful and very knowledgeable on reactivity and how to live a life around that reactivity. I would recommend her for anyone who wants to live fully with their dog, reactive or not. She chooses the best training method that the dog responds to and makes them comfortable and happy. I was able to witness some of her BNTs and they were amazing as well because she puts her all into her training. That’s what you want in a dog trainer!"
